知道Adam Lambert还是在校内上看到一个同学疯狂的分享他的各种视频，就随便点了一个看看，应该是某一场美国偶像里面的视频。最开始没怎么在意，只是被他那惊艳的烟熏妆所震撼。但是听着听着就被吸引住了，这样的嗓音和唱功太完美了，好久都没听到这么好听的歌了（要不前一段时间我也不会一直介绍凯尔特音乐了⊙﹏⊙b汗）。然后就去网上搜了一下Adam Lambert的资料，才发现自己怎么这么落伍啊，都红了这么久的人物现在才发现，真是惭愧。

Lambert是美国偶像第八季(2009年)的亚军(本站之前介绍的David Archuleta也是美国偶像第七季的亚军，囧)。虽然是亚军，但是无论是知名度还是受欢迎程度，Lamber都远远高于冠军Kris Allen，通过下面这张图可以明显的看出从一开始到现在，Lamber的人气都是远远高于Kris Allen的。

Adam Mitchel Lambert于1982年1月29日出生于美国印第安纳州首府印第安纳波利斯。Lambert从10岁起就开始了舞台演出，当时他在圣地亚哥的Lyceum剧院扮演“You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown“里面的Linus。在他12岁的时候，他参与了“Fiddler on the Roof”的演出。之后他陆陆续续出演了很多剧院的演出，包括在柯达剧院的“The Ten Commandments: The Musical”中扮演Joshua，Lambert是仅有的几个在这部戏的评论中获得好评的演员。在2006年12月到2007年5月间，Lambert短暂的加入了一个名叫“The Citizen Vein”的地下摇滚乐队，在这一段时间里，他遇到了后来一直帮助他录制音乐的制作人Malcolm Welsford。再往后，就是他在美国偶像舞台上的闪亮演出了。

美国偶像刚一结束，Lambert就开始筹备他的第一张专辑，为这张专辑他邀请了众多流行乐歌手加入制作，例如 Lady Gaga、Greg Wells、Max Martin、Linda Perry、RedOne、Ryan Tedder、Evan “Kidd” Bogart、Sam Sparro、Kara DioGuardi、Rivers Cuomo和Pink。在专辑正式发布前，Lambert在他的twitter上就一直在逐步揭开新专辑的面纱，他提前揭露了由Dr. Luke制作的”For Your Entertainment”，由Muse乐队的Matthew Bellamy创作的”Soaked”和The Darkness乐队的Justin Hawkins创作的”Music Again”。他还很兴奋的描述了他与Lady Gaga的合作”Yes it’s true: I spent yesterday in the studio with the insanely talented and creative Lady Gaga recording a song that she wrote! I love her“。2009年11月23日这张专辑《For Your Entertainment》正式发行，紧接着就名列12月份美国Billboard 200的第三名。截止到2010年8月11日，这张专辑在美国共卖出了70300份，在世界范围内超过100万份，其中在美国(RIAA)是黄金销量唱片，在加拿大(CRIA)和新西兰(RIANZ)是白银销量唱片。
