The All-American Rejects于2005年发行的的第二张专辑《Move Along》为他们带来了更大的成功，这张专辑有三首上榜歌曲 “It Ends Tonight”，”Dirty Little Secret” 和 “Move Along”，后两首歌曲的数字版在美国的下载量更是超过了两百万份，这盘专辑被RIAA证明为双白金销量唱片。

本文介绍的是The All-American Rejects于2008年12月16日发布的第三张专辑 “When the World Comes Down”。这张专辑的 “Gives You Hell” 使这支乐队在国际上也获得了一定的成功：在美国的Hot 100中排名第四，在澳大利亚的ARIA单曲排行榜中位列第三并且还进入了英国的单曲排行榜的前二十。这盘专辑整体的质量很高，每首歌曲很耐听，我个人最喜欢的是 “Gives You Hell”、”Fallin’ Apart” 和 “Damn Girl”。

Sophie Zelmani于1972年2月12日出生于Stockholm的郊区，在她14岁的时候她父亲买了一把吉他，从此Sophie Zelmani开始了她的音乐之路。尽管Zelmani并没有受过专业的训练，但她还是很快就开始写歌了，并在当地的一家音乐工作室内录制了一些歌曲，之后她将这些Demo带寄给了三家唱片公司，最后获得了瑞典索尼音乐公司的offer。

1995年Sophie Zelmani在索尼录制了她的第一张专辑《Sophie Zelmani》，这张专辑由Lars Halapi与Patrik Sventelius制作，同时Lars Halapi也负责唱片的吉他演奏。Sophie Zelmani在回顾她的处女碟时说：“刚开始Lars和我在工作室里花了几个月的时间来筹备专辑的歌曲并挑选乐师，这是一段很有趣的时光，最后录音只用了两个星期，最终这张专辑共用了半年的时间”。截止到1997年，她的这张专辑在欧洲和亚洲总共卖出去了20万份。Zelmani此后共发行了9张专辑，其中最新的一张是2010年发行的《I’m the Rain》。

也有很多Sophie Zelmani的歌曲被采用为插曲，例如电视剧《吸血鬼猎人巴菲》(Buffy the Vampire Slayer)和《恋爱时代》(Dawson’s Creek)，电影《独立日》(Independence Day)和《我最好朋友的婚礼》(My Best Friend’s Wedding)。

最早知道Sophie Zelmani是因为王菲翻唱她的那首 “Going Home” ，当时就被Zelmani那不亚于王菲的空灵、纯净、甜美的声音所吸引，并一口气听了她的好几张专辑，到现在一直是我的最爱。今天给大家推荐的是她的另一首同样很好听的歌 “Breeze” ，选自她于2002年发行的专辑《Sing and Dance》。

The 1900s的第一张EP “Plume Delivery” 于2006年5月发行，因为当时乐队的鼓手Tim Minnick任职于芝加哥的伊利诺斯大学，所以这张专辑是在一个用来研究预防生化恐怖袭击的实验室里录制的（囧……）。The 1900s迄今为止总共发布了四张专辑，最近的一张专辑是2009年1月20号发行的 “Medium High” 。

本次推荐的 “When I Say Go” 来自于他们2007年10月发行的第二张专辑 “Cold & Kind” 。估计是因为The 1900s没有使用过多的乐器的缘故吧，整首歌曲听起来非常轻松，节奏也很欢快，而且同时保持了很强的感染力，值得收藏！

Amy diamond的声线非常优美，不用来唱歌简直是就是浪费。本次推荐的 “Graduation Song” 来自Amy的第三张专辑 “Music in motion” ，当时她才15岁，但你却丝毫感觉不到这是一个15岁的小姑娘唱的歌，这首歌也是她在国内最广为人知的一首歌，估计是很符合大部分国人的耳朵吧！而且歌词写得也很不错，是不是让你想起了中学，或是大学毕业时的心情？
