Paradise – Coldplay

“Paradise” 选自著名的英伦摇滚乐团Coldplay于2011年发行的第五张专辑《Mylo Xyloto》。说起Coldplay，大家都很熟悉，我第一次接触他们是在高中的时候听到的 “Yellow”。之前一直不知道英伦风格的摇滚是啥味道，自从听了几盘他们的和早期的The Beatles的专辑之后，才模模糊糊的听出其与美式摇滚的区别。Coldplay的音乐特点很鲜明，风格大众化，看到他们在亚洲流行音乐中心–日本的受欢迎程度就知道他们的音乐受众很广，得到了五大洲广大人民的喜爱O(∩_∩)O。

“Paradise” 作为专辑的主打歌早在2011年9月12日就在BBC广播第一频道的 “The Chris Moyles Show” 中面向大众播放。在专辑开始正式发售之后，这首歌在英国流行单曲榜上一直冲到了第二名的位置，同时也得到了众多乐评人的积极肯定。2011年11月30日这首 “Paradise” 得到了格莱美“最佳流行乐队/组合奖”的提名，最终得奖结果将在2012年2月12日的第54届格莱美奖典礼上予以公布，到时候本文也会作相应更新。

“Paradise” 除了歌曲好听意外，MV拍的也很有特色。Coldplay原本邀请了 “Viva la Vida” 的MV导演Hype Williams来指导影片的拍摄的，但是这一版本在拍摄完毕后没有得到认可，被乐队放弃了。之后Coldplay又找了另一位长期合作的导演Mat Whitecross来拍摄，这一版本的故事梗概由主唱Chris Martin创作。MV主要讲述了一头大象（由Chris Martin扮演）从伦敦动物园逃脱，一路经地铁、飞机、独轮自行车回到他的天堂–非洲大草原的经历。
