I’d Rather Be With You – Joshua Radin

Joshua Radin是一个2004年出道的、来自美国俄亥俄州的创作型歌手，音乐风格偏向于美国民谣和Acoustic Music。Radin很早就开始了对艺术的追求，他在西北大学时主修传播学、绘画，是Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity的成员之一，他的第一首歌曲是由Cary Brothers创作的Demo歌曲 “Winter” ，当身兼演员和制片人的Zach Braff听完这首歌后，立刻对其产生了兴趣，并选择这首歌作为电视剧《实习医生风云》(Scrubs)第60集 “My Screw Up” 的插曲，结果这首歌广受好评，并使Joshua Radin一举成名。随后他的一系列歌曲(例如 “Today“, “Closer“, “Don’t Look Away“, “These Photographs“, “I’d Rather Be With You” )都被搬上了多部电视剧，比如《家族风云》(Brothers and Sisters)，《实习医生格蕾》(Grey’s Anatomy)，《美国偶像》(American Idol), 《篮球兄弟》(One Tree Hill) ，《Lie to Me》。

2006年6月，哥伦比亚唱片公司发布了Joshua Radin的第一张专辑 “We Were Here” 。值得注意的是，这张专辑只在苹果的iTunes上发售，并迅速成为iTunes民谣唱片销量榜的第一名。2008年9月9日他的第二张专辑 “Simple Times” 同样也是通过iTunes进行了发布，伴随着这张专辑的发布，Joshua Radin开始了他的美国-英国巡回演唱会。

“I’d Rather Be With You” 是Radin的第二张专辑 “Simple Times” 里面的第一首歌，这首歌也被他上传到了他的Myspace空间上。我知道这首歌是因为它在美剧《Lie to Me》第一季第四集的11分处作为插曲出现，当时的剧情是婚礼上的韩国大使的儿子向来宾展示他和未婚妻的幻灯片，配上这首歌真是天衣无缝，当时我就被吸引住了，随后辗转反复找到了这首歌，Radin的嗓音听起来很清澈、从容，把这首歌演绎的很动听。
